Environmental Stewardship
Never perfect, always trying to improve--the Alzar School is committed to doing its part. As an organization, we are working towards sustainability. We are moving towards using recycled materials in our promotions and organic cotton in our t-shirts and school merchandise.
We teach our students the Leave No Trace (LNT) principles and ask them to think about their ecological footprints. Sean and Kristin Bierle are LNT Master Educators and can endorse students as LNT Trainers. We know that our students will inherit the environment, thus we want them to be a part of the decision-making process now. Our service projects frequently involve conservation efforts.
The Alzar School is doing its best to be part of the solution, and continues to look for ways to decrease our environmental impact. If you are interested in helping, please contact us.
